by Yesterday evening I found nice utility for Nokia Series 60 phones to track and record route while driving: Nokia Sports Tracker.
With this is should be possible to get our route down into mobile phone and exported into Google Earth -format to show the route on map.
Only issue is that I do not currently have compatible phone, but hopefully next week before we start the journey that one is fixed as well.
