by As 2015 summer is already over, I’m starting to think what to do on 2016.
I have visited many countries and places with my BMW and since this summer is 10th time I’m going somewhere with my bike I believe it is time to try something different.
In my garage I currently have BMW R1200GSA, KTM 500 EXC and KTM 690 SMC R and as a though I started thinking taking one of those KTM’s out.
KTM 500 EXC has a bit too short service interval, but others have done it so why not me? Going with this bike would certainly open up totally new roads compared to going with BMW, like this one:
KTM 690 SMC R would also be an option, but as that is more of a *street* bike that might be too _boring_ trip.
But with EXC – ~4 weeks on the road – wonder how far would I get? If I take that bike with me it would probably mean a bit bigger service during the coming winter since I have put some hours on the meter with it…
But I will let the ideas flow. I always have the BMW option, easy, secure and it will take me where I want to go!
